James Dallas is a Milwaukee-based composer/artist, saxophonist and writer who produces music and visual/images for web application, video installation, cd recordings and live performance. B.A. in Graphic Design from UW/Milwaukee 1996, is a retired Milwaukee Firefighter (23years) who lives in Milwaukee with his wife Nora. His work artistically includes web design, oil painting, poster and Digital Art. His early artistic training from his sister Lourine and brother Calvin. Refined drawing/ painting skills from Sylvester Sims (Milwaukee), and graphic design from UWM Scott Zukowski. Current member of Thee Art Guild, a Milwaukee based group of African-American artists, including Sylvester Sims, Patrick Turner, and Calvin Greer.
